Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Cream (Pack of 3) provides multi-symptom relief for external hemorrhoidal discomfort including burning, itching, soreness, and irritation. The formula contains glycerin 14.4% and white petrolatum 15% as protectants to help form a soothing coating that temporarily protects irritated tissue, phenylephrine HCl 0.25% to help shrink swollen hemorrhoidal tissue, and pramoxine HCl 1% as a local anesthetic to help relieve pain and itching. The cream also includes a proprietary blend with aloe and vitamin E to help soothe irritated skin. This hemorrhoid treatment temporarily protects inflamed anorectal tissue and helps make bowel movements less painful. Adults may apply externally or to the lower portion of the anal canal up to four times daily, especially at night, in the morning, or after each bowel movement. The product should be stored at 20–25°C (68–77°F) and kept out of reach of children. Each package contains one tube with a net weight of 0.9 ounces (26 grams).
